In 2013, the Camp Curtin Historical Society unveiled the first of several wayside markers detailing local Civil War History. This project was an effort to expand on the Pennsylvania Civil War Trails Project markers. The first marker at Negley Park in Lemoyne gave more details on the defenses of Harrisburg and included photographs and a map of the area (below).
